Biography

I was born in 1974 and grew up in N. Triglia in the Chalkidiki region. I am married to Civil Engineer Ganiti Eirini and I am the father of four children.

After completing secondary education in 1992, I was admitted to the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from where I graduated in 1998 with a “Very Good” grade.

Between 2000 and 2001, I served as a rural doctor at the Health Center of Kassandreia. In 2002, I started my specialization in Medical Biopathology-Microbiology at the General Hospital of Chalkidiki. I completed my specialization in August 2007 at the AHEPA University General Hospital in Thessaloniki. At the same time, between 2004 and 2006, I attended and completed the Postgraduate Program “Medical Research Methodology” at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Since October 2007, I have been operating a private Microbiological Laboratory in Nea Moudania, Chalkidiki.

I have participated in dozens of Greek and international conferences, workshops/seminars, clinical tutorials and training programs. In total, I have more than 40 announcements of research papers at Greek medical conferences and 9 announcements at international medical conferences. Furthermore, 7 of my scientific papers have been published in medical journals.

I am an active member of the Medical Association of Chalkidiki, retaining the position of Vice-President. I am also a member of various Scientific Medical Societies.
